James McDonald has been a Geraldton local his whole life and a gigging musician since 1991 playing mostly in rock and roll cover bands and continuing to do so to this day in the Geraldton stalwart band C4. For the past three years he has tried his hand at solo acoustic shows to expand his horizons, and for something a little quieter in an effort to stave off going deaf early.

Music James plays ranges from the 70's right through to todays music and he can taylor his sets on the fly with a huge varied range of music for different circumstances to suit the mood and venue. He still isn't averse to pumping out some rock and roll tunes on the acoustic which has been met in the past with surprising success.
