Energy Efficiency Network – Workshop

Gareth Johnston who has spent over 20 years experience working with National and state governments, communities and corporations on clean energy, climate change adaptation and resilience. In leading the National Energy Efficiency Network he works across Australia with faith, social services and community groups to reduce their energy costs and impacts, while helping people to take control of their energy future . A Research Fellow in Resilience at Macquarie University, Gareth is qualified in Applied Science and Leadership for Resilience. The National Energy Efficiency Network, with the support of Pollinators Inc – Geraldton, is offering faith-based and not-for-profit community organisations in the Geraldton region, a free program to help them become more energy efficient, resilient and sustainable into the future.

These free events provides an opportunity to connect, collaborate and share information around energy efficiency with the aim of using less to create more at an energy efficiency workshop & a networking lunch.

NEEN is providing eligible organisations with FREE access to:

  • Energy efficiency information- relevant to the broader needs of the not-for-profit sector and tailored to unique industry profiles
  • Audit tools and resources that inform and support change at an operational level
  • A community of your peers with whom you can share questions, strategies and outcomes or collaborate on energy efficiency projects
  • NEEN+ energy efficiency community events.
