Take care if in area.

Update - man charged:

Sargeant Neil from the Geraldton police confirmed that a  Geraldton man has been charged with dangerous driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.05, and enquiries into exactly how the incident occurred are continuing.

Reports have come in that the car had two passengers as well as the driver, one has suffered an injury believed to be a broken wrist.

Was nearly a lot worse

A local resident from Strathalbyn was nearly involved in a head on collision with the vehicle in question. She says

"3 young boys driving and lost control on the gravel then came on my side of the road. One came and apologised to us for speeding and said they were on the way home from the Wintersun. ... I had my partner and daughter in the car with me, not a nice situation!"

The woman who wishes to remain anonymous, was glad the person who spoke with her didn't try and make excuses, and said she was glad no one was hurt.

Witnesses saw it coming

Witnesses say they saw the driver all the way in Anderson street and other places around town "driving like a lunatic" before finally rolled the vehicle four times on Place Rd.

The police have spoken with some of the witnesses. If you saw anything and have not yet spoken with the police, please contact them on 9923 4555 (option 4 for local station).
