Sunshine Festival on its way

All Aboard For Festival Fun

With planning well under way for the 2013 Geraldton Greenough Sunshine Festival, organisers are inviting local business to come on board.

Held since 1959, the Sunshine Festival has repeatedly proven its value across all of what is now the City of Greater Geraldton.

Festival spokesperson, Yvonne Marsden, said the committee behind this year’s event are dedicated to bringing the community together by showcasing a multitude of activities throughout the growing city and surrounding shires.

“We want to see this fabulous community event keep pace with the entire region , with more input from business and a wider scope of associated activities,” Ms Marsden said, adding that it was an ideal opportunity for local businesses to support events that target their demographic, from families and children to young professionals, retirees or special interest groups.

“You’ll enhance your business identity and reputation, you’ll build brand and business profile, you’ll create profit and you’ll engage your employees in the promotion of your business.,” said Ms Marsden.

“There are many ways to be involved in this long running community event that runs from October 4 - 12.”
