It’s that time of year again to recognise and acknowledge the dedication and contribution of the seniors in the Geraldton community.
The 2013 Bendigo Bank Seniors Week kicks off this Sunday, November 10, and will run through to Saturday, November 16.
There are 21 events being held throughout the week and those who attend an event during the week are eligible to enter a free draw to win two nights’ accommodation in Jurien Bay.

- Wednesday, November 13: Walk and Breakfast, Have a Go at Outdoor Bowls, Have a Go at Darts and the Menshed Geraldton Inc Open Day. Click here for more information.

- Friday, November 15: Have a Go at Art, Over 50s Gentle Gym and Morning Tea, Have a Go at Knitting and Crochet, Seniors BBQ Lunch and Friendly Squares Dance Club. Click here for more information.

In order for the City to understand the thoughts of the community about accessibility of its services, facilities and information for residents aged 50 and over, the City is currently developing a Positive Ageing Strategic Plan.
A strategic planning workshop will follow and will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
