Car hit by rock on NWCH, "inches away" from children

Motorists are warned to take care after another report of a vehicle hit by a rock on the North West Coastal Highway this evening. Police have been fighting the problem of children throwing rocks at vehicles for some months now.

Kristy, who's car was hit said her vehicle was travelling north along the NWCH after the overpass.

She reports a big chip was taken out of the car, "inches away from open window with children".

If you see anything please report it to the police immediately.
