Youths arrested over burglaries

A 14-year-old male from Northampton has been charged with four counts of Aggravated Burglary, four counts of Stealing and one count of Stealing a Motor Vehicle. Officers from the Geraldton Police Station Volume Crime Team executed a series of raids on a number of Geraldton properties yesterday afternoon which saw a number of stolen property items recovered.

The property items were identified as being stolen from four separate burglary offences from within the Geraldton area.

He will face the Geraldton Children’s Court later this month.

In other Operation Nighthawk arrests, two boys have been charged in relation to a burglary which was committed at John Willcock College earlier this month.

One boy was arrested by police attending the burglary and further information confirmed the identity of the remaining two boys who have also been charged with a burglary offence.

The three boys will face Geraldton Children's Court later this month.
