Visiting "friend" assaults 70-year-old

Police have alleged that a 70-year-old male was a victim of burglary and assault by a "friend" that was visiting him.
On September 17, it is alleged that a 41-year-old male from Utakarra was visiting the 70-year-old in Spalding when he pushed the 70-year-old to the ground and kicked him.
It will also be alleged that the male offender left and returned later, stealing the victim’s ATM card and using it to withdraw money. Further to that, the offender purchased drugs and supplied them to another person.
The male has been charged with the following:
- Aggravated Assault
- Aggravated Burglary
- Stealing
- Fraud
- Supply Prohibited Drug
A court date is yet to be determined.
