Community Question:Are there any coffee clubs/groups around for mums? I'm new to Geraldton well three months here now from Sydney and finding it extremely hard to meet people or find anything socially. I'm at Drummond Cove and my neighbours are even extremely quiet and private. Struggling here to adjust and make friends. We know no one here so was suggested by a relative to see of any social coffee get togethers or something.

Myth: "Speed cameras are in sneaky positions."
Fact: The Western Australia Police is happy for drivers to be aware of speed camera locations to encourage them to slow down and save themselves from being in a serious or fatal collision. Camera locations can be found on the 'Camera locations' link. Mobile speed camera sites are assessed and approved by specialist traffic police and these sites must conform to the criteria - fatal or serious crash locations; school zones; areas of reported speed related hoon complaints; or areas where 15% or more of vehicles are exceeding the speed limit.
Sites can also be chosen by police if they believe there is a specific risk at that location.

A Perth mother has been left shocked after being refused entry to a Liquorland Store in Belmont last Wednesday.
The reason she was refused entry is that she had her 18 month old toddler with her. Security staff informed her that she couldn’t enter as her daughter was under 18 years of age.

We are planning to design an Eco friendly house with lots of character . We need an architect that thinks outside the box.

I have a daughter who is 15.5 yrs old so would like ideas on what I could do with her to keep her occupied before she enrols at a school (hopefully nagle) and makes some friends as we don't know anyone over there. Abby shared her frustration at smokers standing in doorways of shopping centres:
Really wish that smokers wouldn't smoke right in front of the shopping centres.... smoking is your choice but when you smoke in front of the entrances, RIGHT under the no smoking signs and by the parent car parks what choice does that give the non smokers and our children ESPECIALLY newborns.....about ready to stage a protest with all the parents and children who don't appreciate it.....feeling frustrated, who agrees??
