ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & WASTE COMPLIANCE OFFICER (REF: 743) (FIXED TERM – 12 MONTHS)

The City is seeking an Environmental Health & Waste Compliance Officer to assess Environmental Health & Waste compliance/complaint matters and implement programs having regard to public health and other regulations in accordance with statutory obligations.

The successful applicant must hold Diploma of Environmental Monitoring & Technology and/or experience within relevant Certificate level qualification and demonstrated Local Government experience in investigating and enforcement of complaints/compliance matters, assessment of applications and exercise of delegations. (desirable)

A starting salary of $64,106 per annum or $32.44 will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
