Accounts Clerk

The Geraldton Yacht Club is a member based 100 year old Sailing organisation.

We are seeking a part time accounts payable/receivable person to undertake Bar cash, Eftpos and Marina income/expenditure reconciliations, banking and MYOB entries as well as entering and preparing approved payments for signing off by the signatories electronically.

Payroll and Superannuation through the One Touch ATO portal is now mandatory and your knowledge of that process will be important. Preparing BAS payments and financial reports for the monthly meetings to the offsite treasurer will also be required.

Whilst a sound knowledge of the MYOB software is required - real book keeping skills will be essential.

It is envisaged that the role will require between 15-18hrs per week to complete and these would most likely be during "school hours" when our Secretary is on site. It would be expected that after a suitable learning period that you will generally work independently of others.
