Panaceum Group - Practice Nurse Enrolled - 0.8 FTE (4days)

Panaceum Group – Practice Nurse Enrolled – Part time - 4 days a week

We are seeking a Enrolled Nurse to join the Practice Team at the Panaceum Group. You will become a member of a vibrant team focused on providing nursing services to Geraldton and surrounding communities.

The position will be Full Time Monday – Friday with usual work hours being 830am-5pm.

The successful applicant will be required after appropriate training and orientation across both Geraldton based practice sites with a team of GPs, Nurses, Allied Health and administration staff.

The successful applicant would require a strong work ethic, developed and consistent time management skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Primary clinical care duties include but are not limited to: wound care, INRs, patient assessment, ECGs, spirometry, assisting with small surgical procedures, assisting doctors with some antenatal care, injections, infusions, careplans, preventative health screening and IV medication administration.

While these skills are ideal, training can be provided to a suitable candidate.

Essential criteria include:

  • Current EN registration with AHPRA

  • Computer literacy

  • Ability to work as a team and independently

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong customer service and a professional attitude.

Desirable criteria include:

  • Prior experience in or exposure to the Practice Nursing environment

  • Community or emergency nursing experience is considered advantageous.

  • Experience in chronic disease management

  • Childhood immunisation certification/qualification

  • Experience in chronic disease management

  • Nursing experience outside of study programs preferable

  • Medication administration competency including intravenous medications preferable.

Aquaculture Technician

Leigh Grange Fisheries was established in 2013 in Morawa, Western Australia. We are the leading producers in the Mid-West region of inland farmed Barramundi and Giant Queensland Grouper with modern grow-out facilities using recirculating saltwater.

Leigh Grange Fisheries uses specialized intensive aquaculture techniques and knowledge gained from years of internal research. We are well equipped to take advantage of new and arising opportunities for the growth and sale of fresh and saltwater fish domestically.

We are seeking two aquaculture technicians to undertake the day to day activities within the fish farm environment. Flexible rostering may be available with the potential to job share (for example two weeks on/two weeks off). There is the potential to advance to a managerial role. You will be trained and educated on a wide variety of the fish farm processes.

Duties and Responsibilities that accompany this position are as follows:

  • Fish Feeding

  • Water exchanges

  • Fish grading

  • Testing water quality parameters

  • Transport live fish
