The success of the annual Sustainability and Innovation Festival continues in 2013 with “Goodness”. The Goodness Festival showcases and celebrates sustainability and innovation in the Mid West and aims to empower, teach and inspire the community.

The festival will run from the 10th-25th of August and will feature an abundance of tours, exhibitions, lectures, workshops and awards based in Geraldton. From River Biodiversity Tours to Mobile and Web Technology Training; there’s something for everyone!

An awards night will take place on August the 16th in order to celebrate regional successes. Awards categories include Leadership, Innovation, Science Engagement, Clean Energy, Culture and Natural Resource Mangement. Awards will be given to local organisations and individuals who demonstrate sustainability and innovation in making our community a better place..

The 15-day long festival will provide the community with information and experiences to enable organisations and individuals to live more socially responsible, sustainable and technically savvy lives. We'll be providing resources and support to help you make more sustainable choices. After all, small changes make a big difference in our community.
