The Old Geraldton Gaol was originally built in 1857 as a convict hiring depot. In the 1860's it was designated as a gaol. Today it houses one of the best gem stone collections for the Midwest, local crafts, woodwork, tincrafts, soaps, wool, bags, cushion covers, glass, metal and mosaic work, knitted and hand made craft, gemstone collections, cards, and (possibly) houses the smallest walk in gallery within it's walls. 

Conducted Tours Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2.00pm
