Act Belong Commit Circus Joseph Ashton will set up its iconic big top at Geraldton for a short season from September 13 to 21.
The circus, known and loved across the state for its colourful characters and exciting acts, is looking forward to bringing traditional circus with a contemporary twist to the region. Among the highlights will be a new dog act showcased by 13-year-old Dante Ashton and starring Ranger, Bella and Ziggy, all family pets who have been trained by world-renowned animal trainer Zelie Bullen over the past year.
Audiences will laugh through the Ashton brothers’ knockabout routine and be kept on the edge of their seats as Jordan Ashton presents the only legendary triple somersault on the flying trapeze in an Australian circus and Joseph Ashton performs the forward somersault on the outside of the Wheel of Death.
The entertainment will continue with a mixture of classic and contemporary acts, from trapeze artists The Flying Ashtons, jugglers, and acrobats, to dogs and the mischievous Goldie the Clown. The circus box office and the Big Top open 45 minutes before each show, with a canteen, laughing clowns, show bags all available.
Pony rides will also be available during interval.
Tickets do sell fast, so it is recommended that people book in advance. The big top will set up at GBSC Sports Park (formerly Eadon-Clarke Oval), Geraldton, with shows on September 13, 18, 19 and 20 at 7.30pm, September 13, 14 and 20 at 1pm, and September 21 at noon.
