The 26-Storey Treehouse

  • Queens Park Theatre Cathedral Ave Geraldton, WA, 6530 Australia (map)

Hot on the heels of the premiere stage adaptation of Andy Griffiths’ and Terry Denton’s The 13-Storey Treehouse, their next bestseller comes to life on stage: The 26-Storey Treehouse.

After their on-stage adventures in The 13-Storey Treehouse, our boys are joined on stage for the sequel by their neighbour Jill and the mysterious Hector Houtkop. Hector will be playing their archnemesis Captain Woodenhead, but he seems very weird – starting with his compulsive pirate accent…

Of course the show must go on, even if it requires a treehouse, a sick shark, self-inflating underpants, an ice-cream-dispensing robot, a pirate ship, Gorgonzola the man-eating fish, a cannon and a Maze of Doom. Oh, and ten unlucky pirates… When the first performance ever is struck by a series of near-fatal prop and costume malfunctions, Jill starts to get a very bad feeling about this show …

Award winning playwright and author Richard Tulloch (The Book of Everything, Bananas in Pyjamas) once again brings this bestseller to the stage, as the boys and their friends deliver an action packed hour of adventure, laughs… and fish?
