Registrations Now Open For Our First Hearthstone Tournament

We’re pleased to announce that Summoning Stone Geraldton will be holding our first ever Casual Hearthstone Tournament later on in the month! Read on to find out more information and how you can enter.

When will the Tournament be taking place?
The tournament will be taking place over two weekends.

Sunday, May 24 from 1pm: Qualifying matches will be played online to decide who will be playing in the final three games.
Sunday, May 31 from 2pm: The final three games will be played at the Fireside Gathering to decide the champion!

NOTE: While the qualifying matches are being held online, the final four will be required to physically attend the Fireside Gathering to compete. Please do not register for this tournament if you cannot physically attend the Fireside Gathering the following week.

What format will we be using?
We will be using the Conquest format, which is in-line with the 2015 World Championship.
Players wishing to compete will be required to send through their three heroes of choice and their deck lists by no later than 12pm on Saturday, May 23.

Is there an entry fee?
Nope! Since this event is being ran in conjunction with our Fireside Gathering, there is no cost to enter.

How do we register our interest?
We will be using Challonge to determine brackets and track results. You can sign up to the event and secure your spot by visiting the sign up page here.
The competitor limit has been capped to 16 to try and prevent the first round from taking too long.

Are there any prizes up for grabs?
There sure are! Thanks to Mama Needs Mana, the winner will receive a set of four Hearthstone pint glasses, the runner up will receive a small Hearthstone Goblins Vs. Gnomes poster, and all participants will receive a Worthy Oponent sticker.

Will the matches be streamed live?
Due to infrastructure constraints of the venue, we are unable able to stream this particular tournament. However, we are aiming to set up a projector or something similar so that those attending the Fireside Gathering can watch.
