Part of the Goodness festival 2015.
Kids Hub are very excited to be bringing a Nature Play Date, to Geraldton, with Nature Play WA CEO
Griffin Longley!
Our Nature Play Date is about informing and inspiring parents, educators and early years professionals to move and play in the outdoors with children and provide opportunity for exposure to risky play that promotes decision making , cognitive development , social development and of course physical development. This theme will explore the benefits of nature play and comes from the understanding that unstructured outdoors play is fundamental for a full and healthy childhood.
On Friday the 21st of August, Griffin Longley will talk about “Why play makes happier, smarter more capable kids”. This event is for families and carers, and explores the intergenerational changes that have occurred, and what this means for our children today.
This event is from 5-6 pm, at the WA Museums Wedge building.
