The 2016/17 Open Water Swimming series will kick off in Geraldton's picturesque Champion Bay on October 1.
In the heart of the city with perfect still waters, Champion Bay provides the perfect opportunity for everyone from beginners to experienced swimmers to challenge themselves with open water.
The Open Water Swimming Series is Australia's premier collection of open water swimming events, with 16 events throughout Western Australia in 2016/17.
Champion Bay hosts the first round of the Series on Saturday 1 October, with distances of 500m, 1.25km, 2.5km and 5km.
