Geraldton Board Riders with the support of the Salmond family have organised a paddle-out for Ian (Sam) Salmond who sadly passed away Sunday February 7th. Sam was an icon in the local, State and National surfing scene and a large part of our Geraldton community. All those who can participate in the paddle-out please gather at Champion Beach, North Side of Dome Groyne Breakwall at 2pm Sunday. Paddle out will take place at 2.30pm. Family, friends and supporters are encouraged to attend. Sam's funeral and wake will be held Monday 15th Feb Geraldton Surf Club at 3.30pm
