This is a one-off public event providing insights into some of the education and career options for young people interested in digital or technology careers. With the aid of guest presenters and panel discussions we will aim to provide parents and young adults with ideas and options for turning passion into a profession.

Join this forum to hear about:

Local digital education and career pathways
Local professionals working with digital technology
Online safety and security basics
This forum will be relevant to:

Parents of children aged 9-17 engaging creatively with technology, Young adults 13-17 who are interested in career options and mentors, Professionals in education, digital and technology sectors.

Guest presenters will include:

Educators from Durack Institute of Technology, schools, IT professionals and software developers, Owners and entrepreneurs from local digital businesses
The is a $10 fee per-person upon entry small fee is to cover venue, catering and coordination.

On Saturday 2nd April there will be a CoderDojo showcase session, with student 'ninjas' presenting their games, apps and digital projects created with the assistance of CoderDojo Geraldton.
