Lunchtime Labs — Valuing Volunteering - Credits, Timebanks and Currencies

  • CityHive 184 Marine Terrace Geraldton, WA, 6530 Australia (map)

Geraldton Volunteer Credits was pitched at GeroSoup, receiving funding to progress the idea - details here: https://podio.com/wildpollinatorsorg/pollinators/apps/projects/items/40

Now, we realise that 'timebanking', tracking 'in-kind' contributions are not a new thing, so are seeking collaboration on the purpose, audience and ways to make this a reality in Geraldton.

Join us if you are from government, a community organisation or NFP interested in tracking and valuing volunteer time. See links below for some inspiration from around the world especially Community Weaver software: http://timebanks.org/get-started/community-weaver/....and not forgetting Geraldton's own 'crays' alternative currency from a couple of decades ago!
