Geraldton army cadets is now recruiting

506 army cadet unit Geraldton will be holding an information session for anybody interested on the 22/02/17 at 1900 (7:00 pm) at the army depot in town, 189 Lester Avenue, opposite Young Motors. Everybody is welcome to come and see what we are all about.

Who are we?
We are your local Australian Army Cadet unit, 506 ACU Geraldton. A youth development organisation with a goal to provide a fun and challenging environment where young Australians learn valuable life skills under the motto courage, initiative, teamwork and respect.

What we do
In Cadets you can expect to be exposed to a range of activities and experiences not seen in everyday life. From abseiling and orienteering to leadership and team building. As part of our unit you will get to go on several weekend camps throughout the year and also partake in an annual 8 day long field exercise where cadets from all over WA meet up. Cadets will enable you to meet new people and make lasting friends from across the state. 

Where are we? 
Our unit trains at the Army depo in town at 189 Lester Avenue, opposite young motors. We train 1830 (6:30pm) to 2130 (9:30pm) every school week on a Wednesday. 

How to join.
If you’re turning 13 in 2017 or are below 16 you can join now. Come along to our information session or speak to our friendly team during one of our training nights. 

Army cadets is a great place to learn new skills, meet new people and experience things outside everyday life not to mention have loads of fun while doing it.
