Safe Sleeping - reducing the risk of SIDS and sleep accidents

Red Nose provides a holistic education service aimed at providing participants with up-to-date research and current recommendations aimed at reducing Sudden Infant Death and sleep accidents. 

This community information session will be held at the Child and Parent Centre - Rangeway on Hovea Street, on Thursday 16 March from 4.00pm to 5.00pm

The session will cover:
•relevance to WA Health Operative Directive and the Ombudsma's recommendations
•Safe sleeping responsibilities for health professionals and carers
•Definition and classification of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
•Rationale and evidence behidn the SIDS and Kids safe sleeping recommendantions
