HeartKids Two Feet and a Heartbeat is a Charity Walk that supports HeartKids and allows children and their families affected by Childhood Heart Disease to participate. The event is an easy walk of approximately 2.1km on level ground and is not a race.
Participants are encouraged to walk as a group with prams and strollers at a comfortable pace. At the event, each participant with a direct link to CHD will be issued a particular coloured flag to carry on the walk to acknowledge their journey with CHD. The HeartKids Two Feet and a Heartbeat concept will also include the opportunity for Heart Angel families and friends to participate and remember their loved ones.
HeartKids will hold the event in all major capital cities and the Geraldton regional support group locations on the same day and time so all Heart Kid families have the opportunity to get involved.
The event will have an affordable entry fee and no minimum fundraising target to make it inexpensive for families to participate.
‘HeartKids Two Feet and a Heartbeat’ is an annual event and a major fundraising initiative, encouraging HeartKids families and the community to get involved and support HeartKids.
