CSIRO is hosting the first-ever Open Day public tours of the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO), a 12,600 hectare purpose-built radio astronomy facility located in Murchison Shire, about 450km northeast of Geraldton.

The official Tour Buses will depart from Geraldton, and the Murchison Settlement, on Friday 5 and Saturday 6, October 2018.

The tours are open to everyone, and bookings are now open, but places are strictly limited on a first come, first served basis. Please note, site access is strictly limited to pre-booked Tour Bus ticket-holders only.
