Geraldton Volunteer Marine Rescue Group and Marine Safety WA will be hosting a combined event at VMR Headquarters, Point Moore on Monday 7 May 2018.
The Headquarters building will be open to the public from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
DoT Marine Safety will handing out Old4New lifejacket vouchers from 4:00 p.m. and then hosting an Experience Flares event from 5:00 P.M. (Details as follows)

The Department of Transport is giving skippers with expired flares an opportunity to experience using them before they are disposed of responsibly.
Those attending will be able to watch a flare demonstration and then in a controlled environment set off their expired flares if they are no more than six months out of date.
