A night of Traditional music from Ireland, Scotland and The Shetland Islands. Robert Zielinski grew up in Perth learning from his mentors Sean Doherty and Mick Doherty before spending 14 years living in the west coast of Ireland. He has toured in Europe and America and taught for three years at The Galway School of Traditional Irish Music. In 2000 he won Ireland’s Traditional Fiddler of the year award. He has just released his debut album The Day Dawn to critical acclaim. 

Jem is well regarded as one of Australia’s finest accompanists of Traditional Irish Music. Together they will play lively jigs, reels, hornpipes, highlands, haunting slow airs and original pieces to name a few.
