Join three Mullewa locals for a special oral history morning with Dr Nancy Broad in celebration of the Australian Heritage Festival as they share their unique connections to Mullewa’s “people, places and the past”.
PAT MILLS was born in Mullewa in 1935 and grew up 10 miles South West of Mullewa on Eureka Farm at Devil’s Creek.
KEVIN MERRITT was born in 1943 in Mullewa and spent much of his childhood adventuring through the old Mullewa cemetery connecting with ancestors.
CLEM KEEFFE was recently awarded the Australia Day Mullewa Senior Citizen Award for the pivotal role he has played in the management of community, sporting and agricultural groups in Mullewa since the early 1950’s.
