Are you Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander? Do you have a passion for the environment?

If you answered yes to both of these then NACC NRM's new Training Grants may be just right for you.

NACC NRM has partnered with Central Regional TAFE to deliver a two-day plant identification course.

This course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to identify, collect, prepare and preserve plant specimens .

The NACC NRM Training Grants will provide a waiver of tuition fees and aim to provide opportunities for individuals to build skills and knowledge in natural resource management, in particular individuals who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.

This training comprises flexible classroom based study at the Batavia Coast Maritime Institute in Geraldton with participation in field visits to the Chapman River Regional Park.
