Breakfast - Rotary Hat Day - Lift The Lid on Mental Illness

  • Geraldton Foreshore, North Side of Dome (map)

On Saturday July 27 Geraldton’s three Rotary Clubs will bring national Mental Health awareness event 'Hat Day Party' to Geraldton.

A large public event including a 'Rotary style' breakfast from 8.00am will take place on the north side of Dome on the picturesque Geraldton foreshore, and we want you to be there wearing the craziest hat you can find!

Breakfast will be cooked up on the Great Northern Rural Services BBQ. A donation of $10 is requested pp for the cooked breakfast. Tea and coffee is available to be purchased from Dome Cafe Geraldton with a donation from each purchase being donated straight back to Lift the Lid Geraldton.

Hat Day is the annual fundraising event for Rotary’s 'Lift the Lid on Mental Illness' project and all of Geraldton is invited to attend.

Each year approximately 1-in-5 Australians will experience a mental illness and in order to help future generations of young Australians, we need to look ahead through research and find out how we can prevent this type of illness occurring.

You can support our initiative by coming along to Hat Day on on Saturday July 27 or by making a donation to:
