Get ready Geraldton! Rocks Laneway will be soon revealed and you’re invited to have the very first look! On Friday 20 September, the brand new Rocks Laneway project will be complete and it will be revealed to the community for the very first time.

To mark the opening, there will be an official ‘light switch flick’ which will illuminate the Ghost Office to the public for the very first time.
There will be various entertainers scattered throughout the laneway with elements of the area’s history, a scavenger hunt for the kids as well as local businesses in the vicinity open for the occasion.

Community members will get a first look at all of the Rocks elements including the Lightbox Gallery featuring Yamaji Art, the Town Square and Ghost Office, as well as the meta graphic and of course, the transformed former Rocks building into a public open space.

Geraldton Regional Art Gallery will open their doors for the event with Geraldton Camera Club’s FOCUS exhibition on display as well as an exhibition by Geraldton local Bruce Bradfield and the National Photographic Portrait Prize 2019. A Rock Painting activity for kids will also be on offer.
