Free URBAN BUSHWALK with CRF

Erin O’Connor and Megan O’Grady are Environmental Planning Officers at the City of Greater Geraldton.
They will talk through current projects in the Chapman River Regional Park covering Boxthorn Control, recent Fauna Surveys resulting in the Conservation Action Plan and ‘Wren Island’ rehabilitation, as well as improvement to the Trail Networks within the Park.
Join CRF to discover this native bushland (364 ha) in the heart of Geraldton-WA. The park is home to more than 300 plant, 123 bird, 22 reptile and frog species, plus kangaroos, possums, bats and echidnas.
Suitable for children 6y+.
Your safety is YOUR responsibility. Paths are rough.
Wear appropriate bush clothes, closed sturdy shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, (raincoat). BYO water bottle.
Please keep your canine friend at home - to give us a chance to observe our wildlife during our walk.
If weather is inclement walks may be cancelled.
