Celebrate International Lighthouse Lightship weekend with a visit inside the iconic Pt Moore Lighthouse and interactive presentations and displays on coast safety, conservation and more.

Point Moore Lighthouse Open Day is to acknowledge the International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend. We hope to promote the iconic lighthouse as a special feature in our maritime history, and support it's place in the heritage of the Batavia coast. 

The day will feature a visit inside of the Lighthouse, with the assistance of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), and also interactive and static displays, presentations and promotions. The newly refurbished Geraldton Volunteer Marine Rescue group’s headquarters in Davies Park will be open to the public during the day.
