About Social Meetups:

Every month on the fourth Friday, Pollinators host Social Meetups that bring together inspiring topics and guests in compelling conversations. We attract thinkers, doers, innovators and creators around a topic of interest, and combine with good food, drink, venues and facilitation to create amazing experiences. Any presentations are time limited, focusing more time on discussion, debate and networking.

This social meetup Pollinators will be having an information session to do with the upcoming Ministry of Data Hackathon: The Ministry of Data (MoD) hosts hackathons to solve the most curious technological problems faced by Government agencies. Open to developers, data aficionados, business analytics, and innovators for a better world, a MoD Hackathon is an opportunity to solve a real problem and have that solution noticed.

How to Participate:

Register. Free for Members and RSVP via Podio. Non-members pay $10 and RSVP at http://bit.ly/poll_public_rsvp
Enjoy the Food. Usually, Culinary HQ supply fantastic platters and nibbles for our social Meetups
Bring money for drinks. The CityHive Hosts runs the CityHive Bar stocked with beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages
Be open. Be prepared to connect, collaborate and get creative, and share ideas, knowledge and insights.

We will be running an Snapseed Workshop – Improve Imagery Impact (hosted by Ken Lawson) prior to this social meetup. This workshop will also be at CityHive and will go from 4-5:30pm. Tickets to this event will be $15 (for members) and $20 (for non-members) AND if you pay and come along to Ken’s workshop, you get free entry to the July Social Meetup.
