Reminder of dangers of leaving animals and kids in cars

As the warmer months are upon us, it is a good idea to be reminded of the dangers of leaving children and pets in vehicles.

Despite it seeming to be common sense, each year reports emerge of pets and children suffering or dying after being left in hot vehicles.

As recent as October, a Perth man lost his 11 month old after appearing to have had a tragic lapse of memory leaving the child in his car most of the day.

Accidentally harming one's own child is a parent's worse nightmare, so stay vigilant.
