Car collides with ore train near Geraldton
/Two people have been hospitalised after their car collided with a train at a crossing on Rudds Gully Rd in Narngulu early Saturday morning.
Police said it appeared the vehicle went through the boom gate crashing into an ore carriage. The car was then dragged along the track for several metres, suffering significant damage.
News.com.au reports that "the driver, a 37-year-old woman from Deepdale sustained injuries to her ankle, wrist and knee as well as internal injuries" and the passenger "a 37-year-old man from Narngulu suffered injuries to his chest and abdomen and possible internal injuries."
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
