A resident has warned the community to take care after her vehicle was hit with what she described as an "orange sized rock" this evening. Her four month old daughter was in the car at the time. The incident occurred on the corner of North West Coastal Highway and Utakarra Rd.
The woman said "My partner and nephew got out and rang the police. About 5-6 young Caucasian kids ran".
She also said that there were several rocks on the ground, and that police indicated they had been trying to catch the rock throwers for some time.
Please contact local police if you see any suspicious behaviour.
