Two disability vehicles stolen after attack on Lotteries House

photo-3 A series of crimes on Lotteries House last night has seen all of the business’ letterboxes in the complex damaged as well as two disability vehicles stolen.

A van from Regional Home Care Services was found slightly damaged nearby. This is the second time in two weeks that a vehicle from Regional Home Care Services has been stolen.

A wheelchair van was also stolen from disability service, Activ, and is yet to be located.

Activ Team Leader Louise Robertson said it was extremely disappointing.

“We are now unable to provide a service to our wheelchair customers until we get our van back up and running,” she said.

“Some of our customers are totally wheelchair reliant and it is really disappointing that we can’t offer our services to them because of this."

If you know the whereabouts of the white Toyota Commuter Bus with the registration 1EGO173, or any information about the crimes, please contact local police on 9923 4555.
