Car fire in Wandina

A car caught on fire in Iduna Street Wandina this afternoon causing a loud explosion and a big cloud of smoke.

An Everything Geraldton user said, "I spoke to the owner. He was in his way home and the car started to konk out...smoke started coming out of the motor so he hopped out..the fuel tank blew up and thus the huge cloud of smoke and flames."
