A 28-year-old male from Sunset Beach has been charged with trespassing, criminal damage and common assault and will appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on October 30.
At 9:49am on Saturday September 2, a male offender was present at an address on Abraham Street Karloo, which belonged to another male known to him.
Police allege the offender approached the male occupant of the address and after a verbal altercation, punched him to the face and body, then struck him to the head with a small wooden baton causing bruising.
Five days later on Tuesday October 7, the offender went back to the address on Abraham Street.
Police further allege that the offender jumped the fence entering the property and kicked the front window, causing no damage.
Police also say the offender exited the property by jumping back over the fence and approached a waiting vehicle, before returning back to the fence and kicking a panel, causing minor damage then fleeing the scene.
