Residents in Houston St Spalding were disrupted Friday night after a stabbing occured which left a man in hospital.
A Houston St resident said on Friday evening at around 10pm "Just got a knock on the door from the police saying there was a break in at the neighbour's. Hand bag that was stolen was located in vacant land! A Horn was beeping numerous times around the time break in occurred. Gosh lucky I have my two dogs out the back."
Later, ambulance arrived and it emerged there had been a stabbing.
A 24 year old man was stabbed in the head and neck, by a woman who was known to him.
The 24-year-old female offender was charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm and appeared in court yesterday. She was remanded in custody and will re-appear in court tomorrow morning.
The man is in a stable condition in Perth.
