Police have arrested two 12 year old girls and a 16 year old girl after stoping stolen car they were driving early this morning.
Police say that around 3:20am this morning they saw a stolen Suzuki hatchback heading north along Brand Hwy in the Greenough area.
Shortly after this in Tarcoola Beach Police signalled the vehicle to stop. The driver decided to keep driving and headed into town.
Officers subsequently deployed a “Stinger” tyre deflation device in front of the vehicle, which successfully deflated two of the stolen vehicle’s tyres. The vehicle continued for a short distance before the occupants abandoned it and attempted to flee the area, allowing the vehicle to collide with the fence of a residential property.
Two 12 year old females and a 16 year old female were arrested at the scene and will face court this morning.
