Rare opportunity to secure beachside lifestyle | City of Greater Geraldton

Expressions of interest are being sought for an exciting beachside residential development about to be released.

The City of Greater Geraldton’s proposed Olive Street Residential Development in Mahomets Flats -bounded by Willcock and McAleer Drives and Olive Street - consists of 70 lots of varying sizes catering to a range of budgets, with nine, 800m2 lots ready for immediate release

Phil Sorgiovanni, principal of Activewest Real Estate, agents for the City, said the development offers buyers a unique and rare opportunity to enjoy a fantastic beachside lifestyle.

“Its central location within walking distance of some of Geraldton’s best beaches, shops and only minutes away from the CBD is a rare opportunity indeed,” he said.

The centre of the Olive Street subdivision will feature three hectares of landscaped public open space that will be irrigated with stormwater harvested from the north and south sides of the development, captured in underground tanks.

The Olive Street Reserve was gifted to the Council of the day via a land swap in 1961, by the late Frank Green of Geraldton, to establish open playing fields for sport and recreation.
