Son accused of mother's death through neglect
/A 26-year-old Geraldton man is on trial accused of killing his ill mother by failing to get proper medical care for her.
Corey Pierce is accused of the manslaughter of his mother Wilhelmina, 46, in March 2011.
The District Court has been told Ms Pierce had numerous health problems and her son was her full time carer.
Prosecutors say the two lived in a very cluttered caravan on a property in Geraldton and Ms Pierce died after falling out of bed and lying on the floor for four days.
