THE COMEDY EMPORIUM - JULY 12th SHOW FEATURING JOHN ROBERTSON

GERALDTON’S brand new local stand-up comedy venue will present its second show in less than a month’s time for one night only. After the sell out success of their first show, The Comedy Emporium has decided early bird ticket prices will be one week only.

Praised headline comedian and creator of the YouTube sensation “The Dark Room” John Robertson will be the highlight of the night providing his black plague wit to bring an element of insanity to the night. New Australian talent Sean Conway, ABC2 Raw Comedy Finalist Colin Ebsworth and many more will be joining him, with a few locals thrown into the mix.

The Comedy Emporium director Julian Canny says, “From the success of the last show in May, this show is going to be bigger and better. I am just glad I have something better to do than watch Master Chef Girls vs Boys.”

With limited capacity and the sellout success of the last show, everyone is encouraged to book their tickets early to take advantage of the one-week special ticket price starting on the June 10. Canny says, “tickets will be snapped up faster than it took Tony Abbott to get here to see the asylum seekers.”

For the first week on sale, tickets will be at a special early bird price of $22, then two weeks before the show they will go up to the regular price of $25. If available, tickets at the door will be $30 to encourage audiences to purchase their tickets early.

"We are doing early bird tickets because we are sick of people just deciding to go at the last minute; this is a comedy show, not a tax return." Director Julian Canny says.

Doors open 6:30pm, live music from Me & the Missus at 7pm and comedy at 8pm. Tickets on sale from June 10 at $22ea for one week only. On June 17 tickets go up to $25 each. Tickets at the door for $30 (if sales permit). Tables can be arranged on 0458 306 111. No BYO alcohol. BYO food encouraged. Bar available.
