Sick start to day
/By Gary Warner
Commuters and pedestrians in Webberton and Spalding had a shocking start to their day this morning.
The carcass of a gutted pig had been draped over a roundabout sign at the junction of Anderson St and Mitchell St.
Advised of the disturbing sight, City of Greater Geraldton rangers arranged for the carcass to be removed by the city’s sanitation department.
Even assuming the carcass to have been that of a wild feral pig, we can only wonder at the mentality of whoever thought it was ‘funny’ to place it in such a prominent location where it would be seen by families and children going to school.
