Two confirmed dead in Waggrakine accident
/Police have confirmed a male and a female have died at the scene of the accident on Chapman Valley Rd near the Waggrakine Primary School reported on earlier this evening.
Witnesses of the accident claim that the incident was a hit and run, however police are yet to confirm this. Update: Police have confirmed that the vehicle was a Holden Rodeo, and have asked anyone who saw the incident or the vehicle prior to the incident to contact them.
People who say they saw the incident have contacted Everything Geraldton saying it was very traumatic. A St John's Ambulance spokesperson confirmed two people died at the scene.
The Geraldton community was shocked and saddened to hear the news, and expressions of condolences towards the families of the deceased have been numerous.
