Vandals destroy foreshore trees

Sadly, small trees along the foreshore have again been targeted by vandals.

Geraldton residents are proud of their foreshore. But one of the few improvements people generally agree on is the need for additional shade.

Other than building shade structures, the council has planted trees with the intention of bringing more shade as they grow.

The damaged trees north of Dome appear to have been intentionally kicked and snapped, some right at the base.

Hopefully CCTV installed along the foreshore will reveal the identity of the vandals, but if you saw anything please contact local police. 9923 4555 option 4.
