If you belong to a community or sporting group that feels like it’s just keeping its head above water when it comes to its survival, the Club Makeover Program is just the tonic you need.

Thursday will see the launch of the Our Club Rules! Club Makeover Program - a partnership between the City of Greater Geraldton and the Department of Sport and Recreation.

The proposal is to develop partnerships with up to six selected community clubs, three sporting and three non-sporting, over a three-year period to guide the clubs towards attaining sustainable, best practice outcomes by up-skilling club representatives to pass on newly acquired skills to successive generations of club representatives.

The program will be tailored so as to meet each club’s individual needs and Thursday’s launch workshop will be presented by acclaimed community club governance expert Ian Crawford.

All local clubs are strongly encouraged to attend the launch workshop on Thursday, November 7 at the City’s Function Room, 63 Cathedral Avenue from 6.30 to 8.30pm. These two hours could change your club’s future!
